Ikebana is an Ancient Japanese form of flower arranging that started around the year 600 when gifts of flowers were left on the steps of the Buddhist temples. The priests started to make arrangements with them and from these first designs developed the schools of Ikebana that now flourish in Japan

Ikebana is available for those who wish to escape, be it just for a few hours or a day or two, from the humdrum, stress-fuelled lives that we lead.
